Grape
Single fruit of the grape composed of the skin (pellicle), the pulp and the grape seed or pip. The stalk is removed from the grapes at the same time as the other green matter. Different grapes differ in the form, colour, size and flavour.
Grape variety
The common characteristics of a group of vine stocks that originate from one or more morphologically similar plants. There are authorised and recommended grape varieties for certain specified regions. The same grape variety grown in different soils and climates will produce different wines, although some particular aromatic elements will endure.
Grape
